During the meeting with the director of the institution, Nina Mykhailivna, we also discussed the urgent need for books in the Ukrainian language, because only a third of the library’s book collection is published in Ukrainian. The Ukrainian language is the cognitive code of the nation, and right now the Ukrainian word, language and literature are so important. Literary evenings, aloud readings, meetings with writers and poets are held in the library, which contribute to the development of readers’ national consciousness.
The library was founded in 1971, the book fund includes 26,000 copies of various genres and fields of knowledge. More than 4,500 readers visit the library annually.
The library closely cooperates with educational institutions, regularly conducts educational work with teachers. Readers are served including through intra-system exchange and interlibrary subscription. Therefore, the computers provided by the company “AM Integrator Group” will contribute to the rapid exchange of information and knowledge dissemination.
