The company has completed a brand refresh: Ekran System Inc is now officially called Syteca Inc.! The new name reflects the evolution of the product, which provides improved cybersecurity for organizations.

The Syteca platform is a cybersecurity solution that inherits all the functionality of the Ekran system, while expanding the capabilities of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and User Activity Monitoring (UAM) in a more customer-centric way. The company has changed its approach to licensing. The new Syteca platform allows you to use only those features that meet your current cybersecurity needs. If you are interested exclusively in managing access to systems, data, and endpoints, you can buy only the Privileged Access Management (PAM) functionality. The same applies to the User Activity Monitoring (UAM) functionality.

The update also expanded PAM capabilities with the addition of new features, including:

  • Account Discovery allows you to identify existing privileged accounts in your IT infrastructure — even those you didn’t know about.
  • Account Onboarding allows you to bring those identified accounts on board to Syteca and enable efficient password management.

Syteca can currently discover and connect Active Directory and Windows local accounts. You can customize account discovery and onboarding to your needs and schedule automatic discovery and onboarding of new accounts as they are created.
